How we got our start:
Founder Maria Gallo saw an opportunity that would introduce hair foil to salons across Canada. Partnering with her husband, Frank, the pair ventured out to salons in their home province of Ontario, Canada, knocking on doors, educating hairstylists on the future of hair color. Riddled by challenges and turned away repeatedly by salon owners, the duo looked to distribution, and thus, Framar was born. Maria became an over the phone sales specialist, working with a network that introduced Framar to hairstylist across the entire country, all without ever physically meeting any of her customers - many of whom are still a strong part of Framar, some 35 years later.
What makes our products unique:
Once upon a time, hair coloring accessories were nothing more than a footnote in the professional beauty industry. Something everyone needed, but no one obsessed over – until Framar moved onto the block. Framar products are manufactured to a superior standard, and designed to honor the spirit of the hairstylist and inspire the creativity that embodies their craft.
